Hobey Ho, Let's Go!

Happy Independence Day to all! (Meaning all of you who read my blog...meaning, as of today, Laurel. Hi Laurel!)

Tomorrow morning, I will be waking up at 4:00am (heinous. painful. and sadly, necessary.) and dragging my protesting parents along with me to a 5:00am call time at LAX. We will drive the endless freeway to LAX in the dark of the morning, and I suppose I'll see the sun come up for the first time...and then, we will enter into the madness of trying to get 25 teenagers, 3 parent chaperones, and 3 teachers all through security onto an international flight. At 5 in the morning.

We will then board the plane, find our seats, take off, switch our seats, and land in Atlanta for a layover, then depart and land 10ish hours later in Greece.

We're going to Greece.

HOLY PENGUIN WE ARE GOING TO GREECE!!!!!

I never thought this day would come...when we were told of this invitation 6 months ago, I assumed it would be a nice thought, but it would never happen. I have never been more ecstatic to be wrong...because here we are. THE DAY BEFORE. *happy dance*

Oh, now you're probably wondering about Puffy, seeing as this is titled after him and all. Puffy will be flying first class in my lap, and will also be used as a pillow, seeing as his rotund squishiness makes him the optimal in-flight pillow. But I promise you, he doesn't mind...I say it's a small price to pay for getting to see a foreign country while all your other stuffie friends stay behind!

Anyways, I have to go pack now (don't judge. I'll get it done!). Later!
